Incognito Mode is a privacy feature offered by web browsers that allows users to browse the internet without storing any browsing history, cookies, site data, or form entries. When a user enables Incognito Mode, the browser does not track their online activity during that session. Once the private window is closed, all data from that session is typically erased, providing a level of anonymity and preventing other users from seeing that activity if they access the same device. It is important to note that while Incognito Mode increases privacy from other users of the same device, it does not make users completely anonymous on the internet, as activities can still be tracked by websites, ISPs, or network administrators.
